Clear Patient Policies for Your Care
HIPAA Compliance Certified
Winbigler Medical is a HIPAA-covered entity. Your protected health information is used and disclosed only as permitted by law, including for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations. Our complete HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices is provided to every patient and is available on request. We do not sell patient information, and we do not use patient information for marketing.
Transparent Refund & Cancellation Policies
Consultation fees. Patients may cancel a scheduled visit at any time before the appointment for a full refund of the consultation fee. Once the visit has been conducted, the consultation fee is non-refundable, as the clinician’s professional time has been delivered.
Prescription Medication Fees Explained
Prescription medication fees. Because federal and state pharmacy laws prohibit the return and resale of dispensed prescription medications, fees associated with medication are non-refundable once the prescription has been processed for shipment by our partner pharmacy. Prior to shipment, medication charges may be cancelled in full.
Damaged or incorrect shipments.
If a medication arrives damaged, or there is an order error attributable to the practice or its partner pharmacy, please get in touch with us within seven days of receipt. We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
Secure Payment Processing
We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely by a third-party vendor. We do not retain full card numbers in our office systems. Card information is handled directly by our PCI-compliant payment processor.
Card Disputes
We ask that patients contact us first if there is a concern about a charge, so that we can resolve it directly and promptly before any dispute is filed with the card issuer.
